The 8th of March marks the globally celebrated International Women’s Day, used for recognizing the efforts of women in the growth and development of the society. It’s a focal point in women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues of gender equality, reproductive rights and violence and abuse against women. More so, it celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievement of women.

In the call for accelerating gender parity, there are significant activities witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements and rally for women’s equality. The 2024 global theme is “Invest in women: Accelerate progress.”

As such CTSAMVM Protection of Civilian (PoC) Cluster, led by Gender Unit organized an internal gathering with the staff in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
