Maj. Gen. Teshome Ayana the Chairperson of CTSAMVM with H.E. Aleksandr Kosmodemyansky Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of South Sudan. Maj. Gen. Teshome briefed Ambassador Aleksandr on the current developments in the South Sudan peace process highlighting CTSAMVM’s mandate and operational activities, as well the challenges faced by the mechanism. Ambassador Aleksandr noted the importance of implementing the Pease Agreement and stated that he will inform his leadership on the concerns raised by CTSAMVM.
