Today, CTSAMVM leadership met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to South Sudan, H.E. Sebastian Brökelmann.
Maj. Gen. Dr. Hailu Endashaw briefed Amb. Brökelmann on the current implementation status of the Permanent Ceasefire Agreement and CTSAMVM’s operations, including its monitoring, verification, and reporting activities in support of the peace process in South Sudan.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on key developments in South Sudan, with discussions focusing on the prevailing security situation across the country and efforts to maintain peace and stability.
