The Civil Affairs department, joined by Reports, Fusion and Communications departments today participated in the UNMISS “Peace begins with me” outreach event in Gudele. The event was part of a broader initiative by UNMISS in the country to enable various leaders including Chiefs, women, youth, church and others understand about the peace process, the constitution making process as well as the UNMISS mandate.
The session today provided an opportunity for the participants to engage and interact with the CTSAMVM team on Chapter II, how the mission works as well as Security Arrangements within the peace process.
