CTSAMVM leadership met with H.E. Mr. Timo Olkkonen, the European Union Ambassador to South Sudan, to discuss the escalating security situation and grave human rights concerns across the country. Other issues discussed were CTSAMVM’s operational and financial challenges.

Meeting with Lieutenant General Mohan Subramanian, Force Commander of UNMISS. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between CTSAMVM and UNMISS to deter violence, enhance information sharing, and foster trust among signatory parties to the R-ARCSS and the South Sudanese people. Both sides emphasized the need for coordinated action to address security challenges to ensure compliance with the ceasefire agreement.

CTSAMVM leadership with Mr. Oyama Hiromoto, the Japanese Chargé d’affaires and Deputy Head of Mission. Japan’s partnership has been a cornerstone for CTSAMVM’s work, offering both political and financial support, including a contribution to CTSAMVM’s operations for the 2025 fiscal year.

CTSAMVM officials had a meeting with Ambassador Roar Haugsdal, Norway’s ambassador to South Sudan, at their embassy in Juba today. CTSAMVM officials visited the embassy of Kenya in Juba to meet with H.E. Ambassador Jeremy Ndola, Kenya’s Ambassador to South Sudan. The meeting held today highlighted the shared commitment of CTSAMVM and Kenya to a peaceful and stable South Sudan, with both sides pledging to enhance coordination and regional cooperation in the coming months.
