The 8th of March marks the globally celebrated International Women’s Day, used for recognizing the efforts of women in the growth and development of the society. It’s a focal point in women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues of gender equality, reproductive rights and violence and abuse against women. More so, it celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievement of women.
