April 27, 2023, Juba–South Sudan: The UK Ambassador to South Sudan, His Majesty’s Ambassador Guy Warrington on Wednesday paid a courtesy call to CTSAMVM.
Ambassador Guy Warrington has just been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan in succession to Mr. Jonny Baxter.
CTSAMVM Chairperson, Lt Gen Asrat Denero on behalf of CTSAMVM welcomed the diplomat and expressed gratitude to the UK Government, for the firm support accorded to CTSAMVM over the past years.
On his part, the Ambassador appreciated the work that CTSAMVM is doing and said it was critical in ensuring that the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of Conflict in South Sudan is implemented.
He further said that the UK government is ready to support CTSAMVM and to further continue engaging with the mechanism in order to implement its mandate fully in South Sudan.
