MVT Yambio visited the Governor of Western Equatoria, Hon. Alfred Futiyo, on 11 August. The Governor thanked CTSAMVM for the work that it does and asked MVT Yambio to enhance its activities in the states as the presence of CTSAMVM assures citizens there is peace.

The CTSAMVM Technical Committee met in Juba on 12 August. CTSAMVM Chairman Maj. Gen. Teshome Gemechu Aderie told the meeting that recent clashes had “the potential to jeopardize the Permanent Ceasefire and Peace Agreement and lose the hard won gains achieved since the Agreement was signed in 2018.”

  • CTSAMVM On 8th March begun conducting a workshop for new international observers with an aim to equip them with the necessary knowledge on CTSAMVM mandate in the transition period of the R-ARCSS, mission, policies and the general conduct of operations prior to their deployment.
