CTSAMVM welcomed 13 new International Observers in August. The observers – from Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda – were welcomed by CTSAMVM Chairman Maj. Gen. Teshome Gemechu Aderie at a ceremony to mark the end of their induction training in Juba on 12 August.

MVT Yambio met with the paramount chief during the team’s visit to Rimenze IDP Camp on 10 August. The chief said the security situation is calm and residents hope that it will continue to remain calm with the arrival of the new Governor in Yambio.

MVT Aweil met with the Chief Instructor for Pantiit Training Center on 11 August . He said the center lacked food and medicine, and that staff were awaiting information on graduation and assignments of the trainees.
